Mitra10 together with Shaw Brother established SB Furniture

In the mid of May 2009, PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP) launched SB Furniture located on Mitra10 Cibubur. The opening of SB Furniture is to expand Mitra10 business coverage to home furnishing product. To accommodate this, Mitra10 go hand in hand with Shaw Brother, a furniture producer from Thailand created a new company named Catur Shaw Brother (CSB) to sell furniture product with brand SB Furniture.

In the first step, SB Furniture’s showroom presented at Mitra10 Cibubur with selling area of 1,200 m². Mitra10 Cibubur was chosen since the location has a good prospect especially in the property development. According to Idrus H Widjadjakusuma, the director of Catur Sentosa, joint venture with Thailand’s SB Furniture will strengthen Catur Sentosa’s retail segment. The product will be more complete, from building materials, home improvement and home furnishing product with interesting designs.

Shaw Brother is chosen as business partner since the company is the market leader for furniture product in Thailand who currently has 100 outlets. In the near future, SB Furniture will open its new outlet in Mitra10 Gading Serpong.
