PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk targets the sales of IDR 130 billion from the three renovated outlets. The company’s director, Tjia Tjhin Hwa said that those three outlets were located in Jakarta (Daan Mogot and Percetakan Negara) and Surabaya (Wiyung). She said that the renovation has been done to increase the company’s sales. The renovation costs an estimated of IDR 1.3 billion, respectively IDR 500 million for the outlets in Jakarta (Daan Mogot and Percetakan Negara) and IDR 300 million for the outlet in Surabaya (Wiyung). The president director of Mitra10, Andy Totong said that the renovation is a continuation of consolidation and rearrangement of the outlets begin from last year. In the first quarter of 2010, Mitra10 booked 24% in sales growth from the sales in the previous year. It has 25% average growth in the last 4 years. The company makes Mitra10 to be the backbone for the company sales in the upcoming years. In 2010, modern retail segment is targeted to contribute for 20% of the total sales target. PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP), the largest independent distribution and modern retail (Mitra10) company in building materials, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Procter and Gamble Indonesia to distribute consumer goods products. To realize that plan, the company builds a new Consumer Goods Distribution Division. Tjia Tjhin Hwa, Catur Sentosa’s finance director, said that the cooperation with P&G is a strategic action to increase company’s sales especially in distribution segment. The company believes to achieve 2010 sales target of IDR 3.3 trillion, increase by 15% from 2009’s sales. Tjia Tjhin Hwa is optimistic that the company has experience, skills, network and facilities to develop the new consumer goods distribution division. The company will distribute P&G’s products to traditional retailer at Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Serang. In 2010, distribution segment is expected to contribute 80% of 2010 sales target (IDR 3.3 trillion), while the remaining will be contributed from retail segment. The shareholders of PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP) had agreed the acquisition of land for the opening of new distribution branches worth of IDR 19.4 billion. The acquisition is expected to boost sales to grow by 15% to IDR 3.3 trillion in 2010. The finance director of Catur Sentosa, Triana Soenaryo, said that the land acquisition consists of 21,000m2 of land located at Bogor, Pekanbaru and Pangkalpinang. Currently, Catur Sentosa has 37 branches of building material and chemicals, 18 outlets of modern retail Mitra10 and 5 outlets of SB Furniture. In the first quarter of 2010, the company booked a sales of IDR 750 billion, a 15% increased on sales of IDR 649 billion in the first quarter of 2009. The sales is most contributed from distribution segment worth of IDR 595 billion, a 13% increased on IDR 524 billion. The company posted net income of IDR 11.8 billion, reflecting 45% of 2010 net income target of IDR 26 billion. The company will expand to the distribution of customer goods in this year to increase sales. As a consequences, the company does not distribute dividend this year. Better economy growth expectation, inflation rate, BI rate and buying power will sustain this year sales. Sales increase will be contributed from three business segments. The director of CSAP, Triana, said that management expect all the Mitra10 outlet sales will increase especially Mitra10 Superstore’s sales. |
